so i should just bypass the heater as i dont have a heater valve . stick a bit of tape over the temp guage, to avoid distraction ,drive around listening for groaning noises ,whatching for steam with a couple of botles of water in the back, I'll try it and let you know

Tried stat in water and it opens didn't have a thermometer to check at what temperature but it was boiling a few seconds later . And the reason why i think it's over heating is that the temperature guage halfway between N and H + the air coming out the heater is hot enough to slow roast a leg of por...

over heats
my little truck over heats when thermostat is in and runs cool when removed ,rad is new, stat is new , could it be the wrong one?
