Re: Lucas coil packed up 3 weeks out of warranty

Re: RILEY 1.5 AND WOLSELEY 6/80 NORFOLK YARD

AntB and Samuria Only just seen your postings as nothing came through into my email box when you sent them. Plan to go to the yard next Saturday so will check out if front drums are there on the Riley - I think they were. The yard is just off the A140 north west of Norwich but has been shut to publi...

MM carbs seem to be in short supply at present as was asked a few times over the weekend for one. Have several of the internal screen pillar finisher if that is what you want. Bryan

RILEY 1.5 AND WOLSELEY 6/80 NORFOLK all useful bits now gone

Saw a Riley 1.5 and a Wolseley 6/80 in a local yard being cleared near Norwich last week. Anyone want parts off either before they get crushed?

Re: Windscreen chrome strips, and the joiners

Hi
How much do you want for the sets of "hoops"? Richard Mckellar might be able to bring them over to the UK in his luggage when he comes over for the Centenary rally.

Re: mm gear stick

The last photos are of a Series 11 gearknob not an MM one. Morris 8 Series E had a gearknob same shape as the MM but made of bakelite (?) rather than rubber so didnt perish but they are probably just as hard to find as the correct MM ones.

Re: sf34 semaphores

I beleive the SF34 was fitted to very early MM Lowlights and was then superceeded by the SF80. As far as I know the fitting bracket is the same for both but you need to check the length of the lens as it may be slightly longer. SF80s are easier to fix if you break the lens !

Re: Horopito Wreckers, New Zealand

Horopito is an amazing scrapyard. I spent a couple of hours there last Easter before going to the NZ Federation Easter Rally looking for splitscreen surrounds for the Club Spares. If only it was closer. All the minors have been shifted to a far corner of the main yard and there are several lowlights...
