it dosnt look to bad but with a car that age should it be perfect you would be surprised mate the blue vw had been through car washes and the paint was a right mess the Aston took me about 30hrs to do (was a mates so no rush) this was his pervious aston before DSCF1161.JPG DSCF1162.JPG after DSCF13...

all depends on budget and personal preference
i have polish/ waxes that cost only a few quid up to nearly £100
here is my morris along with the shelves stocked with too much stuff!! lol

cheers for the diagram very helpful
the box im looking at doesn't have a rev switch set up
and going by the info on the diagram its a 1098 minor box as the shaft number shows?
it was the hydraulic clutch that threw me

mg gearbox

hi all can anyone give me any info on mg midget gearboxes i have the chance of a mg midget box with an output shaft number 22g171 it has hydraulic clutch which make me believe its defo a midget box unless any knows different am i right in thinking its a 1098 midget box not a 1275(which I'm after) an...

i had a strange feeling that was the case so i have ordered a couple of new brake pipes
so i can rotate the servo

i used the bracket supplied with servo which makes the 'nose' slightly higher than the rear ?

Hi as for the coil it was fitted there before i decide to fit a servo!
i made up the bracket once i changed from dynamo to alternator

cheers for that i had heard/seen that the servo should be 'twisted' slightly so the
white vent? is to the side??

hi all
any pictures of the correct orientation of the brakes servo set-up?
just to double check
as i have fitted it the same way i have seen some done but i am sure i have now read
that it should be fitted in a different way??

hi sorry its had to be done this way this is the overall length of the beam IMG_20200409_121506711.jpg this is the size of the top plate (i notched the box section to recess the plate you don't have to do that if your jack will allow the beam to fit under the car) i needed no more than 70mm in total...
