Horrendous brake squeal!!

I have filed the leading edge and roughed up the inner of the drum, but it's still their with avengeance. Do you think this i...

I would say it is about 5 inches long. there is also a 50pence hole on the under side further up, so not good news! would a patch be sufficient or would a ne...

Rear brake cylinder size?
Hi My morris is a 1957 model so should have 7/8" bore. I am currently changing the passenger side as it has siezed. How could you tell what size is currently fitted to the car, without dismantling and measuring the bores. I don't want to order a 7/8" bore and find out the drivers side is 3...

Re: Spare parts issues!!!
Hi
Yes I think I will mention the water pump to them and see what they say. I' don'twant to sound to be 100% negative towards esm. They always have a fast efficient service and are 'generally' helpful. It just the quality of parts doesn't seem to be up to a satisfactory standard.
Cheers

Spare parts issues!!!
Hi Has any one else had issues with the quality of parts from esm lately? I purchased a Rear Link Arm & Bushes less than 6 months ago and the bush has come away from the arm already! Bull motif look to know what they are on about and realise the issues with other suppliers. Bull motif say "...

Re: Draining gearbox oil
I did have this problem with a Rover P6 sump plug. The plug was well rounded off and all stillsons and mole grips were doing was shaving more metal off the plug. I ended up cutting a slot in it and using a spanner, edge on, to turn it out. That's exactly what's happened to mine! I have put oxyacety...

Draining gearbox oil
Hi
I want to drain and replace my gearbox oil, but the drain bung is seized solid! I don't want to drill out and helicoil it at this time. Is their another way to get the oil out? Remove plunger bung?
Cheers

How do I know it will work?
Hi I have been offered a Lucas Red Box 54413006 condenser, but how do I find out if it's compatible for a Morris minor. I have had two "new Lucas condensers" go on me now, so I am currently using my old original one which is great :D but for a spare I would like a original piece not a Chin...

Hi Phil
Unfortunately I can see the crack whilst the starter is under motion. Got my car running now, changed the condenser and she fired up.

Bent dash pot damper not fixed my problem!
Hi all and merry Christmas to you all. Good old mo has been running odd lately, to cut a long story short my dash pot damper cap ( that's what ESM call them) is bent. I had a very unusual drive to the co-op this morning. A hour later I drove it home without it in situ and she behaved herself. I trie...
