I agree entirely. We usually pull over and let them go past. That way we can be a witness at their court case (or their inquest).

Re: Cameras

John, Almost all dashcams have the option to plug into an auxiliary socket rather than be hard wired. It also allows you to switch the camera between cars if you buy a second camera mount. Once configured the way you want (video quality etc) they are plug-and-go. Which make/model do you already have?

Re: Hello

Adam, Welcome to the Forum. It's funny how childhood memories have such an impact. We got our Traveller because Jayne always remembered when she was young lying in bed on summer evenings and listening to the neighbour come home in his Traveller as it parp'ed its way down the road. Can I suggest you ...

That's because you haven't entered it under User Control Panel & Profile.

Re: Can’t get my daughters car to start

Elaine, Are you a member of the MMOC? Your profile says no, but that isn't always correct. If you went along to your local regional group meeting (the North East Branch I should think https://www.northeastmorrisminors.com ) I'm sure they could help you or point you in the right direction. As others ...

Elaine,

You may have already told us this in which case my apologies, but whereabouts in the country do you live?

Jayne and I were out for a walk yesterday and thought we would pop into Greggs for a treat. Unfortunately they could only accept cash, no cards. Something to do with the heavy rain and their internet connection. I did chuckle to myself.

I can't remember the exact date but from some time in September even Esso Supreme E5 will contain up to 5% ethanol, regardless of where you are in the country. 0% ethanol is no more.

Absolutely right. I knew someone who worked in the Highways Agency control room. The stories he used to tell about the stupidity they witnessed in any given day were frightening.

Re: Cashless Society

I'm in the process of selling various unwanted car parts and accessories. £20 here, £40 there. How would that work in a cashless society? Presumably I would have to give out my bank details every time, as if selling online isn't enough of a risk already. Also, what happens at shows, where you are in...

We also run a 1959 Traveller on 145/80 R14 76T radial tyres. I'm not sure it quite answers your question but for what it's worth we run 28psi all round.

The ability to edit a post is only available for a short time after you post. I have a post I made 3rd July and I can't edit that any more. Could that explain what you are observing?
