Those BMW reflectors (part no 7161921) are also widely available, both new and used, on eBay and elsewhere.

I just bought a set of 4 slightly used for $12, shipping included ....

Redmoggy: If your car was # 84XX, that indicates it probably was CKD. The LHD cars were 5501-8001, and the RHD sequence restarted at 8501 and ran to 15500. Is yours RHD or LHD?

Tortron: This photo has been making the rounds in Minor groups ... is it your finished installation?

AND, did you use MG Magnette or Standard Vanguard Phase I gauges? More details most welcome!

It might fund another Alta, unless anyone wants to trade one? :D Now THERE'S an idea! :) I'll have the same challenge in a year or so, as I have a reputedly rebuilt USHM3 in a crate, half-disassembled along with all the rest of the bits (thanks, Bryan Gostling) to finish it up. The only problem is ...

Wow! Did you buy them? I do know what they are. Here goes .... Those are Lucas L488 rear lights (running + brake light) mounted on the pedestals that were used on Minors sent to North America between January and about June 1949. I thought all other Minors for all markets had a single rear L482 lamp ...
