Don't disagree with us the 'intruder' but still don't want to meet a gang of them in an ambush.

I suppose meeting a Moose would be worse ...................just glad I don't live in Canada!

It doesn't matter how much care you take in your vehicle, deer are an accident waiting to happen in the most unexpected places, deer warning signs or not. Their population has increased dramatically and they now turn up anywhere even in house gardens. I am just as appreciative and caring when it com...

Think yourself really lucky to walk out of this as it seems a lot of people are killed or seriously injured hitting deer. I hit two on the A31 in a VW at 60 mph, completely smashed the front in and it left me broadside across one side the dual carriageway at Ringwood at 5.30 on a winter's night in r...

Everyone to their own...........

If the creator wants to be outlandish let it happen .............. as it will probably be banned or charged extra for by 'the council' before very long.

"How do you find out the original registration and how can you tell when it is not the original registration." SK numbers were issued by Caithness and were one of the slowest issues of all UK registrations. They were still issuing SK**** numbers in 1963 and only reached ASK *** in August ...

You also need to try and track down its original reg number as USK*** is a replacement number, either on a cherished transfer or in place of an original registration number when a V5 reg document was first issued.

No record of UBL 521 on the DVLA site as a licenced vehicle.

http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/index.jsp

Maybe it could still exist stored somewhere.

I can pin it down further in that the 'F' numbers were first issued in Feb 1957 and were all issued up to 9999 F by April '58. This makes this car early '57 probably March/April.

The reverse F registration is a genuine 1957 registration number from Essex, probably Chelmsford Tax office.

FJB series numbers were issued by Berkshire county between July 1949 and November 1949. I would suggest yours was a September car. Has the MM club any other FJB's listed which may give a clue as to supplying dealers in the county in those days? Busguy

I visit the Members site daily but there is a limit to how many items/issues/comments you can post without running the risk of looking an 'anorak' who just gets a buzz from clocking up postings. No offence to anyone intended but that's my thought for the day. I am a dedicated Minor fan and my ad for...

Any ideas on the points he raises regarding the engine and body moulding spec differences?

He quotes his chassis number as 48006 which makes it early/mid 1950 to me. Busguy

52 side valve MM wanted

My first car was a '52 sidevalve MM in grey/red interior and I eventually want to buy another similar age vehicle. I prefer one that is fairly original but needing work. A sensible (low!) price is favoured but a good home is guaranteed.
