Re: Top hose cracking up!
Yep pure rubbish. Source a good old one or go for the silicone type hoses. And then source a good one for the boot.

Bridgestone 145/80/14 tyres
I recently purchased bridgestone b381 145/80/14 tyres for my black minor through a local tyre supplier. He was able to supply me with 5 at £38 each plus vat (not including fitting, as i can get them fitted where i work). He said that he couldn't repeat it as they are now incredibly hard to find. I t...

Re: flex in floor
Yeah quite normal. My blue minor has no flex that I've noticed due to a thicker gauge replacement floor. My black and grey minors (original floorpans in both) , if jacked up sometimes give a 'bong' noise due to floor flexing. Nothing to worry about. Also nothing wrong with waxoyl if that's what your...

Yeah it looks and sounds genuine. But wonder why it has the pre 64, 700 headlamps fitted and not sealed beams.

Re: bottom bump stops
I have just replaced them on my dove grey car. Got them of esm. Had to be slightly bend into shape with the vice. But I knew the score as I've done it on my other minors. No problem with them apart from that. Even if they don't last long, they are wee buns to change.

Re: Vibration and Ping!
My blue minor every now and again let's a ping from one of the universal joints when taking off (always taking off easy - I may add, no dropping the clutch :D ). An has done for the last 15+ years. There is no vibration or play from them and greased regularly. So I have no intensions of changing them.

Re: Car Cover
The last cover I bought was this one. Quite cheap and good quality, with cotton lined on the inside to protect paintwork.

I have changed them on my black minor to the newish allen key type which i have found excellent. I fully intend to change my other 2 minors through time.

If the radiator is hot at the top and cooler at the bottom, then it is doing it's job well. Quite correct.
Lovely car too, by the way !!!

In my case the brakes are not binding. Always cold after a run.
