personally I would prime then seam seal and then when seam sealer dry put a coat of primer over the top :D

We should all know that devices that are on show i.e. steering wheel locks, handbrake/gearstick/pedal locks are good to deter thieves up to a point. Triumph Stag episode was entertaining in my view actually showed some of the problems found rather than throwing endless new parts around, looked a fine result too :D

Agreed trolley jacks are best a little heavy to carry with you though so I have a bottle jack out of a Discovery it has a shaped top which fits to underside of axle nicely :wink:

Thanks for all the response I will check the gearlever and change the oil as I don't know when it was last done :wink: I'm hoping to get it on the road for a couple of months this year and then tuck it away and maybe do a couple of events next year ., I don't think it will be a show winner but very ...

sloppy gear change

Hi my minor had a very sloppy gear lever , I have seen a rubber o ring type thing listed which goes on bottom of lever ? is this problem really this easily cured ? or is there more to it

I have seen that , the cans seem to vary in weight quite a bit so sort through to get the heavy ones :o
