Matt you're an inspiration, "improvise, adapt & overcome" as clint Eastwood once said. Here's a picture of my home made engine and cab dolly. If it can take the lump, it can handle the cab. with four B&Q casters, some stout lengths of timber and away we go. <br> http://mmoc.org.uk/...

If a car is reported stolen the index number and chassis vin plate number should be reported to the DVLC, that should light up as a stolen motor vehicle to any prospective buyer, how on earth could this garage owner claim to have bought these smv's in good faith. lets hope he looses his business. I'...

I've also got my eye on this van on e bay (330319684556.) says it was a runner before being garaged. wings look usable, I wonder what the chassis is like? might be worth a shufti. its inexpensive at the moment, but then again those rear pickup parts went for over £500 in the end, I was staggered.

MIG WELDING

For repairwork on floor pans, door sills and body outer panels I'm looking at buying a MIG welder that works on domestic current levels for home use, there are two types, the first uses a bottle gas like argon to provide a shield over the area of work, the second has a wire spool that releases a shi...

Just look at this old botched repair to the r/o/s corner. looks like whoever did this didn't really care a lot about the car, it was a farm, the car was a commodity, they did what was needed to get it through its MOT I guess. Lets face it, when this orrible repair was done, you could easily buy a lo...

scratch one fuel tank, I think something once lived in here, when I stripped it off the car today some "strangely brown" mud came out onto my nice clean driveway. the picture shows it being stripped of the chassis support strips, Unsure if they come with a new chassis, kept them as a patte...

Well thank you, both of you, Its my first ever restoration. It's something Ive always wanted to do, I did do a BSA C11 motorbike a couple of years back. All that needed doing was strip re-paint and re- wire. nothing like this. Ive been an armchair restorer for so long, I've got all the books, so I h...
