The EBay number above shows a similar strip to the ones I fitted, to my Barnsley minor, quite expensive at 99p each.
I am well pleased with the results.

Re: Derby registrations in 1960's
I obtained a heritage certificate, no dealer information, it did confirm when it was built, and where first registered. The DVLA sent me log book copies back to 1963, for £5 I believe, very interesting. I contacted Hertfordshire county council who were very helpful, apparently many years ago, they w...

I wanted it for my 1275 Midget engine 12cc DH15908.
Mine had a small chip in it, couldn't find a reasonable spare at the time.

Hi
I bought a HIF 38 carb, from a forum member, reported removed from a running car.
After much head banging, the damper spring was missing, worth a look.

Hi Richard
Thanks for the link, I cannot believe I did not think of that. The current program looks to be exactly like mine.
At that price good value for money.
On a brighter note, I found my cribb sheet, regarding installing it, the original now works fine.
Thanks once again Richard

Hi all
Years ago, we used to be able to buy high output oil pumps, to help slightly worn engine bearings.
Not sure if this was a con, they always managed to charged extra for them.
Roy will proberly know.

Hi
Just fetched some oil as mentioned by Richard.
Carlube Daytona API SEC/CC.20/50.
Don't forget its wrinkly discount day today, makes it £9.88.

Re: Wolseley brakes,what parts fit?
Hi All I had to remove approximately 2mm from the sides, and remove some the shoe its self, with a file to fit the adjuster. As regard the value of the upgrade, I removed the original 7" to fit the 9", no servo, cost I think, about £5, 20 odd years ago. You have to watch the price f...

Hi thanks for that, yes that looks a good option, if I cannot get the correct one,
better than just switching it on and off, as I am doing at the moment.
