Yeah I know, preferably I'm looking for actual white wall tyres... which will probably be quite difficult in this day and age

Yeah I've heard about these, I wouldn't really trust them, thanks for the info though

Re: E-type style Dashboard metal ?

The first mod I did to my 1959 Minor was fit a Moto-Lita wood rim and it cost me £12.50. The one in the link shows a flat steering wheel - the wheel I fitted was slightly dished and I did need the dish. Ensure that there is enough clearance around the wheel with the flat wheel. Made just down the r...

Re: Limeflower

So two points already raised: If it's a keeper have whatever colour you want. If you have an eye on selling one day, another colour might help the sale. Another point, if you are painting because it needs a respray, painting the same colour can be cheaper because you might not have to paint the ins...

I would as well Les, probably stolen to order, or they just thought they could make money on it, have you made anymore since then?

You can get ones to fit the minor, but maybe you need to start saving your pocket money :D https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/moto-lita-steering-wheels-morris-minor.html Phil Yes I know, at the time of writing that post earlier, I'd picked the particular wheel and I know the boss I need as well, they al...

Looks like that one has a more up to date steering column as well. I cannot help with the supplier of that material but here is a photo of my Traveller dashboard.. I made it from plain aluminium sheet and then lacquered it. http://lister-engine.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/10026/Morris_Dashboard_...

Good for you! I know exactly how you feel! Just out of curiosity, and without being rude, are you at an age where you remember the Morris Minor on the road, or are you a late convert? My own situation is I remember Morris's when they were every-day transport for many. Happy Minoring! Hi I'm 61 year...
