Re: Heated screens?

If the carpet is damp misting is much worse, better to takes it out then find any leaks. Dirty glass mists up more easily too, try cleaning just the front and rear screens thoroughly, a chamois leather does a good job. Leave the side rear windows so you can see the difference. Glass never gets chan...

Heated screens?

See they're available for just over 100 rips each...front and rear. :o

Anyone got one, either or both?

How big a mither and expense is involved I wonder?
Desperately need to sort out the constant misting up problems when it's raining...most of the time.

Ours needs upgrading.
Dreadful thing it is.

Hot or off with a very squeaky fan operated by a big wheelie knob thing.

Did the swap last year, and wow, what a difference :o

Made me ask myself the question as to just how I used to drive at night when I was a teenager trying to follow the glimmer from those electronic candles. :-?

Re: Car cover for 4 door morris

As mentioned before I think BMC must had had one from a bad bunch. Mine has been on my car outside in all weathers - my house is full south facing. The cover is taken off periodically (as suggested by the manufacturers) to allow the car to "air" So why did they tell him not to use it when...

Re: Car cover for 4 door morris

My Stormforce cover was fine in the rain - although did blow away once, so I always used extra bungees after that. But in the summer sun - it very quickly went 'brittle' and fell apart. When I questioned them about this, they said I shouldn't have used it in the sun......... be warned.... So, you c...

Just rung them. Probably not a good idea when you're angry. Poor girl got it both barrels. Not her personal fault, so apologies for my sarcasm and slightly agitated tone. Won't do a limited mileage Currently unrestricted and includes foreign cover too. Both unwanted. She only drove Moggsy 800 miles ...

Can't post on my original FJ thread, as for some strange reason it's been locked. Anyway, the new broom at FJ's has certainly swept clean as I feared it would. So, who bought the traveller from W.D?

Watched this fascinating episode the other night. Sold it for a very reasonable price too imo. Anyone in here? http://www.carvideos.eu/wheeler-dealers-2013-episodes/wheeler-dealers-2013-morris-minor-traveller-episode/ The show could have done with being a bit longer to see how/what they did with the...

I can remember : Bain Dawes, Aon, Footman James, now Towergate (still operating under the FJ name though) I'm sure I've missed a few I presume that FJ/T/G are the only ones now? Did speak to Peter James at the classic car show at the Trafford Center a couple of months ago, and he did a quote for me...
