Re: Downtime

Thank you for noticing the knots I was tying myself in while attempting to describe what's going on! Once that process if somplete, I can - and will - be more 'expansive'

Re: 2021 National

Well as this thread shows, you're never gonna please all of the people all of the time. I think pretty much anything the club can do will be grabbed at with open arms, as people are desperate just to get out of their house for an hour or so. No, clearly it won't be for everyone, and we certainly DON...

Re: 2021 National

Good that your doing something but still disappointing nonetheless (especially for those who don't book / register soon enough to be 'allowed' to attend. Personally I was looking forward to perusing the car boot type stands....... As a side issue, the lockdown roadmap suggests (relevant section pas...

Re: Chamois v Microfibre

I used to use chamois, but converted to microfibre because I'd go through a chamois once a year - they'd either start to smell a bit unpleasant or they'd get that horrible greasy texture. The good quality microfibres have lasted me for donkeys, but having seen the info above about them I think I'm g...

Re: 2021 National

We had an announcement yesterday sent out to all the branches. I'll just post it all here - I am in discussions with Kelmarsh about holding a picnic 🧺 on 27th June. If enough people are interested to allow camping 🏕 we could offer availability on the Saturday and Sunday night although no showers or ...

Cartoon

This is a bit borderline - I've put it up but if it offends any then I'll remove it. I'm not casting any aspersions one way or the other on the political element, but I thought it was rather a good cartoon!

I say this with more confidence than I've ever said it before - don't worry about it. In a very short time, and I mean very short, we'll be on a new service that will mean we can forget about the [censored] we've had to put up with recently. I can't say precisely when because we're dependant on exte...

Re: Who's had the Covid vaccine? Anyone going to refuse it?

We had ours almost a month ago - had early invite as front line social care workers - and pretty much ALL my colleagues had a couple of days feeling under the weather, or a bit tired, or sore arm, or SOMETHING. But me, I didn't get so much as a twinge. I'm half convinced they gave me an empty jab!

Re: 2 door VAE 306H

I have the same lights on the Traveller. Used to have the indicators wired as well - you can see the hazard lights on in the pic - hazard.jpg but ended up cutting the feed to that because the LED in the indicator flashed at a different speed to the bulb in the sidelight, so if I was sat indicating a...

Re: EBAY SCAMMER AT IT AGAIN

There are more there again today, another seller with a hundred classic cars and lorries for sale who's only previously sold a Paddington Bear toy. I can't believe that ebay don't have ways of spotting such irregular patterns, but nothing ever seems to get done. The only thing you can do is just tel...

Re: Traveller rear doors leaking

+1 for ManyMinors reply I'm afraid - it's not likely to be as easy as just 'replace the door, problem solved'. That said though, putting a whole new door on is expensive and you'll have issues matching it up, so it's actually worth it solving the problem rather than masking it. Have a word with Rob ...
