Re: Interior Light Wiring

I’m not looking forward to this one
I keep looking at the garage door
Perhaps it’s connected itself
Or maybe be the Minor elves have been in overnight and fixed it
I think I will have one more cup of tea ..

Re: Interior Light Wiring

It’s the negative return from the courtesy light
One end is connected to the door switch and the free end will eventually get to the light if Ivan find the female connector

Re: FLATISH BATTERY START

If it was me I would connect pos first (assuming it’s a negative earth vehicle)because when making the final connection if you inadvertently touch the metal work you will not cause a short circuit

Re: Horn Push

I can't see anything wrong particularly. The spring clips need to be fitted with the barb part to the outside in order to grip of course. When fitting it, you need to offer it at an angle so that the piece of spring/contact you mention engages correctly first and that both of the clips are correctl...

Horn Push

I had cause to remove the steering wheel today and on replacement I can’t get the horn push to stay in position
The spring pushes it out around the 6 o’clock position
I think I’ve broken it somehow but I can’t see anything obvious

Re: 1275 timing marks

You appear to have two empty holes in the cylinder head which are normally used for an additional stud/bolt. One hole is just behind the thermostat housing the other hole is at the rear of the head by the heater tap. If you do not have the corresponding threaded holes in the block then there is not...
