Rear wheel resistance

Hi, I'm just checking the bearings as one of my fronts is a slightly rough so will need changing soon, with the car jacked up the fronts both rotate freely for a while after you let go as does the passenger side rear, the drivers side rear turns freely when pushing but barely continues when let go, ...

Re: Trafficator current

Thanks, I have mine planned slightly different to that using just one flasher and 2 relays, but also have hazards included, the diagram gets quite interesting at that point! :)

Re: Trafficator current

I'm just wiring in the old trafficators alongside the flashers and checking which method/wire thickness is appropriate, thats all. :)

I believe newton seats are based on metro seats anyway, just with expensive covers :)

Trafficator current

Hiya! Quick question...

What sort of current does a trafficator draw? I assume it's not much.

Re: 1961 2-door saloon (Sidney)

I've spent today T-cutting the paintwork, the more I polish it up the more I'm regretting not taking it all back to bare metal as a lot of dents and scratches from under the previous paintjob are starting to show up as i think the previous respray was even shoddier than my attempt! Ah well, I'm stil...

Re: Spotted today.

I just saw an almond green saloon MVV 335H, parked on a driveway down my street in kingsthorpe Nothampton. It's a Northampton registration so it probably means it hasn't had many previous owners.

Re: Spotted today.

Spotted a white saloon parked up in a side street today while driving down Derby road, Stapleford. I didn't get a good look at it as I was too busy trying to negotiate the horendous speed bumps. I also saw a (frilford?) grey 2-door (1959 I assume) parked at the side of Afreton road around Hyson gree...

Re: Sage green traveller?

Sage green was use on saloons from May '56 to Mar '59, almost 3 years so is not particularly rare it's just that for some reason they only started using it on travellers in feb '59 before withdrawing it completely from the range in March. Seems a bit of strange decision to me.

Sage green traveller?

Hiya! I was just reading info on minor colours available and noticed that sage green was introduced on the traveller in Feb 1959 yet discontinued in march of the same year so was made for only a very limited time, looking at the chassis numbers and proportion of travellers to saloons and other colou...

Re: Spotted today.

I spotted 2 minors on the A1 this morning, travelling North-bound in my blue 2-door I overtook a blue G-reg traveller (waves exchanged :) ) and also later saw a bright yellow pick-up with a trailer going the other way.
