To give you a clue! The vehicle Steve mentioned was the last of the line started by NWL576, and was compared/roadtested with NWL for Classic Cars magazine of July 1994. Cheers John

As you say, everybody to their own. Convertibles particularly are prone to water ingress, which one of these vehicles was. Hence my comment.

Saw two minors today travelling on the North Mundham/Runcton section of the road between Bognor and Chichester, around midday today, within 5 minutes of each other! First one was a smart E reg? cream convertible with a red hood, and the next one going in the same direction, a saloon with a JJJ regis...

Try RH classic insurance on 01277 206911. My last minor was £78 fully comp with breakdown cover, and if you unfortunately write the car off, they give you the salvage back for free!

FYI - RH insurance actually give you the salvage vehicle back FOC if your classic is written off with them. Doesn't help in this case, but if you are unfortunate to have a write off, it sure saves a lot of hassle and heartache.

If you have taken the two self tappers out towards the top of the kickplate, that leaves four or five nuts and bolts nestling under the channel below the door aperture. These can be pigs and clamp the kickplate tight. If all bolts loosened the kickplate can slide upwards as the ' holes' are in fact ...
