Re: Boot lid

I bought a fiber glass one once, worst thing I ever did. The holes for the hinges were in the wrong place, I had to use a file to get enough room for the hinge bolts in, and the boot stay threads were different to my original bolts. Still trying to remedy this issue, not to mention it feels like it'...

Re: Teardrop trailer project for sale Devon.

Yeh I agree, it's the time I'm lacking now. I'm a man who takes on too many projects and I've just started an open university degree so something has to go!

Re: Teardrop trailer project for sale Devon.

I'm exactly 6ft tall and I can lie down in it, even with the storage cupboard that's in it, that I was planning on removing also!

Re: Teardrop trailer project for sale Devon.

Pictures as requested. Notice the mould on the inside, my plan was to strip out the soggy wood and replace it with 6mm ply throughout.[frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1453134698_11719 [/frame][frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1453134733_11719 [/frame][frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbi...

Re: Teardrop trailer project for sale Devon.

It tows fine yeh, it's quite small and light. I'm sure it would manage just fine behind a Morris, that was always my plan but my Morris was always in pieces....

I'll post photos tomorrow when I've got daylight!

Cheers!

Teardrop trailer project NOW GONE

I've got a teardrop trailer, we bought it with our wedding present money, it lives in Devon where it rains a lot and it leaked. The inside wood is mouldy and needs replacing, and sections of the outside need re doing and it needs sealing. The towing gear is good but it needs a dry place to dry it ou...

Re: Edd's 1969 2 door. UHU62H

Putting the dash back together to start him up this week. Annoyingly my pinch bolt for the choke cable to carb has just given up. £1.50 from ESM, plus £8.95 postage. What the chicken.[frame]Image[/frame]

Cheers

Hmm, can only find that type in pairs. If anyone fancies one, I'll buy them both and sort out posting one out and splitting cost down the middle to you. No rush, got to get him fired up first!

Re: Edd's 1969 2 door. UHU62H

Perfect! Are there any articles on the science of stub stacks? I've got vizards tuning the a series, shall I cast an eye through that? Like I said, I bought the pancake because I preferred the neatness of it to my original one which was all over the shop, but as for the science of tuning, I know abo...

Re: Edd's 1969 2 door. UHU62H

Cheers Neil,

It would be grand to find one of those on its own rather than a pair!!

I'll have a scour, so I'm right in saying, filter base plate, stub stack, filter, filter pancake lid fella?

Ah, I see!

It was a case of style over science with that purchase if I'm honest...

Sub stack. Talk to me. How do I make this happen? Where can I buy one, I'm willing to learn!!!!

Cheers!
