Re: VWL 561

Nice picture, I wonder how much the area has changed

It says on the front of the bus Railway Emergency Service

Does this mean they had bus replacement services back then and it's not a modern day thing :-)

Sorry to hear about your stroke Dominic, hope you get better soon

Post your query on http://www.morrisminorowners.co.uk/

The lads on there modify their cars so might be able to help

Re: Split screen moggie, good or bad?

Hi John

It looks very nice, from your photos you could easily think it is a genuine split screen

I always think Black split screens look good

Unusual places people stop to talk about your Minor

As per the title, what unusual places have people stopped to talk to you about your Minor Yesterday while waiting to turn right at some traffic lights on a dual carriage way a bloke walked across both lanes to have a chat about Bessie, he was very pleased to see her but not really worth risking your...

Re: Buying a morris without looking it over.

London You should all ways go and have a look in the flesh, a photo will give you a good idea of what the car is like but not the full picture (no pun intended), also you will need to have a test drive in it and ask the owner any questions you will have If the car is a long way from where you live s...

Re: My First Morris Minor

Thank you every one for your kind comments, George I will alter the earth strap on the battery Roy, I won't be fitting head light peaks :-), the cosmetics I had in mind were things like electronic ignition and fitting poly bushes, nothing too drastic just things to improve it a little Thank you Paul...

Re: Ford Fiesta 1275 cc Engine

Thank you Suzukimorris, you have given me food for thought

I am only the second owner of my Fiesta and I knew the original owner so it will be a shame to see the car go as I know it has been looked after

It is 14 years old but has only covered 41,000 miles

Re: Rebuild saloon from scratch!

Ay up Verity and welcome to the forum

You will get plenty of help and advice from members more knowledgeable than myself but if you can put on some pictures that will help, also your location as some one local might be able to pop over to have a look at the car

Well done, for the price you paid it looks a good car, one you can improve over the years

Your trip sounds very nice, make sure you give the car a good service before you set off

Ford Fiesta 1275 cc Engine

I've been saving up for a while now to buy a Morris Minor, one thing that has crossed my mind is would the engine from my mk v Ford Fiesta fit in to a MInor and also the gear box The reason I ask is my Fiesta would need more spending on the body work than it is worth for the MOT next year, if the en...
