Re: The return of my Morris!! Hopefully?!

Wow! That guy does a good job of rolling it over! Haha. I'm a bit scared of taking the engine and box out, purely as I've never done it before and I'm worried I won't be able to put it back properly haha! Right. Onto the next step of getting Morris back! I will keep you updated! Thank you again guys!

Re: The return of my Morris!! Hopefully?!

Thanks guys. Well, I've managed to secure a garage at the house of a lady I work for (gardening). The garage next door houses a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 3 that I get to look after.... So garage, check! Next is securing the money to buy it back....a small loan from a family member I think. Then onto ...

Re: The return of my Morris!! Hopefully?!

Thank you very much. So many things to think about really!

It's starting to feel unlikely that I can afford it but I'm trying to ignore the voice in the back of my head and I'm just wanting to go for it!

Re: The return of my Morris!! Hopefully?!

Now that's impressive....

I haven't actually learned, or even tried to weld yet so I'm feeling that's a little beyond my ability to do a safe job.... I like the idea though, are there plans for things like that anywhere or is it a off the top of your head job?

The return of my Morris!! Hopefully?!

I've been a little quiet on here for the last year, as I was forced to sell my Morris to a friend as it needed a lot of welding and a garage, both of which I didn't have (money for welding). He's now rang me asking if I'd like to buy it back, oh my word I'd love to, I feel like I'm missing a limb! H...

Re: White substance on paint?

Right. Problem is underway to being solved. g3 compound, followed by an absurd amount of elbow grease does the trick! Then a nice polish over with auto glym super resin polish. Slowly doing 1 panel a day so within the week it should be done! The paint isn't perfect, sprayed quickly in a dusty garage...

Re: White substance on paint?

No it kind of like buffs off, if I put polish on it and rub it really really really hard it goes, but sometimes it comes back after a while after the polish wears off!

Re: White substance on paint?

Nah it's definitely not because it rubs off and when it's wet it's perfect!

Re: Preparations for a long journey?

Hey guys, thanks very much for all the help.

Happy to say me and the trusty Morris made it to Bath with no breakdowns or trouble at all.

Due to awful weather and a whole lot of diversions it took 4 hours....

Good job I love driving my Morris!!!!

Thanks again!!
