Thanks for the reply Mike.
The seat covers are still complete with no splits around the seams or at the stitching.
I just feel the material is a little brittle and wonder if there is a suitable product that could revive it, perhaps a type of leather food solution or equivalent?
Thanks
Pete

Lowlight non leather seat material, how to protect?
Hi all.
My 1950 Lowlight is still has its original seat material but not in leather. (I don't know the correct name for it).
Please could I have some advice on what products to use to 'feed' the covers so they don't feel so brittle.
Thank you
Pete

Re: Rear wing reflectors
Thanks Mike.
Do you know of or have any photos you could post so I can get an idea of what they look like. Also, if you may know if either are reproduced or any old stock around?
Cheers

Rear wing reflectors
Hi. Following my long search for a lowlight, I am delighted to say that I am the proud owner of a 1950 maroon model which, for those of you in the club, is the one that is featured in the latest club magazine. The car was restored over 10 years ago and has retained many of its original features. It ...

Re: Opinions please
Thank you all for your comments which have been very helpful. It is a difficult position to be in when you like the look of a car but have limited knowledge. Do you keep quiet and take a chance or do you seek advice. Both options have their own pros and cons but for me,with limited knowledge, to see...

Hi all. My search for a decent Series MM lowlight has not been productive within my price range and I think I will have to now consider a slightly later model. This Saloon is on a Dealers classified ad on EBay ref 350907708925 and I would appreciate some thoughts you may have. I know it is difficult...

Re: Series MM prices. Help!
Thank you all for your replies. I have noticed the Lowlight for sale and it looks absolutely ideal for me. My budget is around the £4500 mark maybe £5k if the good lady allows it! So unfortunately can't stretch to the asking price. As from many previous posts on here, "a classic car is only wor...

Series MM prices. Help!
Family now old enough to do their own thing so do not need the mum and dad's taxi anymore! Time to get back into Minor ownership to take me into my retirement years with the intention to use it on high days and Sundays and generally enjoy being an owner again. I am looking for a Series MM saloon ide...

1953 Series 2 for sale on ebay
Hi I have been without a Minor for a few years and think it is about time to purchase another. A series 2 is on a classified ad on ebay ref 270697772610 which looks quite tidy. However, before I make contact with the trader, I wonder if I could have some advice/views on this vehicle based on the pho...
