Bonnet Anti-Drum Fabric

After re-fitting my bonnet (after re-spray) I get some quite nasty vibrations / resonance at certain speeds. I'm going to add some anti-vibration pads to the underside but one of the things that seems to be missing is the 'Anti Drum' fabric on the top of the rear brace. If you look at No. 5 in the p...

Dinefwr Joinery is the place I think you're referring to. It featured on Wheeler Dealers some time back.

Indeed their website states "You can only buy our Morris Minor and Mini woodwork from Bull Motif Spares"

Wooden wheels, wooden engine, would'n go

Coursey of the BBC: Car parts of the future could be made out of a surprising material. Wood.

No! :o Really!?!? What, you mean .... like .... a Morris Traveller?

OK, it's on about wood pulp-based materials really. Next debate: varnish, Danish oil, .....?

Re: Hif 38 carb question

The diagram here shows where the idle screw is and what the various connectors are (the rest of that thread is also worth a read).

Also, this thread includes a link to a useful document and my post from that document covering where to start with the needle height.

Re: 6v car

I doubt you'd find 12v to 6v DC converters that would handle the starting current but you could consider using motorcycle batteries - try one from a large capacity motorcycle. If needs be wire two or more in parallel to get the extra start current (the Cold Cranking Performance (CCA) figure for the ...

Front Bumper Spring Bar

Need a little help please. I've removed the front bumber (in the process of an engine and gearbox swap) and found that it has no spring bar (Item 1 in the diagram below) - it was just mounted with the spring - over rider supports (item 14). Is this normal for a 1971 Traveller and if not then is it a...

Re: Morris Traveller - covering the rear luggage area.

We initially made our own, then had Newtons do a couple to our design to match the seats. I've seen another variation whose owner admitted getting the idea from ours, but put the stretch wire at 90 degrees - works much better. I have also seen folding versions and roller blind versions; but all are...

Re: Dynamo and (Lack of) Control Box

Thanks for the response and apologies for my delay in replying. Cables are conencted correctly. When it was charging the voltage was fine, the problem is that it would then drop out completely. I've sinced adjusted the cut out threshold (away from the conditions for the static test in the manual) an...
