i drove mine with a bit of sympethy i did not thrash it but i varied my revs did not stay at the same spped too long and i did regular gear changes so the engine did not get put under strain,i think its ok oil pressure 60 on the motorway at 60 mph when warm just dont go mad with it.

hi i have had about 45 out of mine,i have a engine thats only a year old and a new carb so thats bound to help.cruising at about 55mph i tend to use tesco super unleaded 99 oictaine

if you flood it push the choke in and put your foot right to the floor and start the car .as soon as it fires take your foot off the pedal and then feed in the power gently other wise you could dammage your engine.another little tip if this used to work with my mini and my austin agro awful car duri...

i have just baught some bridgestones for myrtle,i have noticed that the back wheels have not been ballanced.the new tyres are going on the back should i get them ballanced when i get the tyres ballanced common sence says i should

thanks lou for the info it just baught back some childhood memories,you have got to think of something whilst you are delivering the post that people dont want. i grew up at an early age after my mother died,thats why i like older things ie ww2 aircraft and moggie minors etc. :lol: :lol: :lol:

i waved back at a man in a people carrier i was driving out of heathrow and this nice person tried changing lanes without using his mirrors how i missed him i dont know i waved back pointing to my eyes,this is a bit off topic i know.
