Replacement hood

Not sure if this is a repeat posting but can't find an earlier one I did!

ESM do a mohair hood for a convertible, has anyone had one fitted? Are they worth the extra money?

Front bump stops

A previous owner has had new inner wings put in but not replaced the bump stops and there aren't any holes there. Does anyone know the precise location/measurements for these please?

Haynes manual indicates that replacing front window channel seals is straightforward because they are using the old type window channels that were solid, Replacements from ESM etc are very bendy and cannot be slid down the channel with the window in situ. Polarity

Hi - I wish to fit an electrical water temp gauge which I will route via the speedo voltage stabilser. Are the gauges polarity senstive does anyone know?

Also who sells the nicest looking instrument panel to match the Classic Smith's range with magnolia facia?

Interior trim

I am replacing the scuttle panels on our 65 convertible. The old ones that I removed were held in by two screws with cups on the door side of the panel but they don't look like they are originals. What is the correct fixing please? Also the new panels have a selvedge of about 2" where does that...
