My first thought was a blocked grease nipple,but,as you have checked that.?? maybe grease gone hard in the joint,so a strip down maybe in order then.. good luck..

The leather seats in mine now have been "painted" red..original color is "tan",i can see paint runs under the seats.The red"paint"has covered very well and dose not bleed,run,sweat etc...wish i knew what product they used(nothing in the comprehensive history with the car)

they are leather Roy.KA sport seats( £60) mid to dark blue "middle",the rest of the seats are black ,want to dye blue to black..i have checked out some leather dye and paint products off ebay,just dont know if they will "do the job"if you know what i mean .dont want to ruin the s...

Leather dye
Hi all,i have been offered a set of ford KA seats,they are black with blue inserts,just wont "go" with my maroon 2 door. I was wondering about leather dye,but have never used it before....what are your thoughts and/experience of this? or should i just wait for a more suitable color to come...

well done edd,keep up the good work..Im having to use my "Ruby"(1968 2 door) as an every day car at the moment(rolling restoration) as i cant afford to fix my "modern" because Ruby needs so much doing! pleasure to drive though! im local to you,so hope to meet up soon.

Also,if you do replace the distributor you will need to replace the advance and retard pipe as yours is the screw in type,you will need the push on type(only costs a couple of pounds) hope you get her running soon..

try measuring from rear wheel rim to front wheel rim on one side of the car.then compare measurement to the other side.also,a plumb line tied to centre of front bumper,while wheels are straight.turn steering too full lock,the plumb line should rise.then fall as steering is centered and rise again as...

Quick update....we(my 12 year old son and i)checked the piston rings etc again,all seems good,correctly fitted etc.We changed all the valve guides,worn rocker shaft,burnt valve etc.Un siezed carb jet/choke.. Have done 100 miles in Ruby over the last few days now...All good..(took a white to burn off...
