when you have the chassis number, it is not a big problem to find out the production date..

Re: Lowlight alloy door sill kickplates
Only when the list is long enough for starting the production, go to ESM..
so 95% from the production should reach a new user, direct after production, to avoid a big stock at ESM.

Re: Was XBU911 ever found?
the problem with a minor is, they only need to know before they want to steel a Minor... When you are in the car, every secret switch does not help when the know the wiring under the hood. So it is easy, just make a ready to use cable, connect it to ignition, fuel pump and starter, and go.... Or loa...

Re: Lowlight alloy door sill kickplates
maybe a good idea to make a list from people who want to order a pair?
And with this list, go to ESM?

So I have to look on my spare axle...
He is in a corner behind a lot of wood, and I can't see one side.

resistance tankmeter
I connected the tank meter on the new wiring, and see the needle a little above low when contact is on.
When I measure the connection to the tank, with disconnected dashboard meter, I measure about 3 Ohm, with a half full tank.
Does someone has a table from the resistance with empty /half/ full tank?

Re: An 1951 MM LHD, stripped, with a minimum on rust
I know, I removed the glass 2 weeks ago ;) But did not check the gearbox side. Maybe the rear axle on blocks, and run, to see what is working and what not. Still a lot of other things to do, the tank meter is not working, and the carb is leaking now after the cleaning. Before putting new seals in it...

No speedo meter working, new cable, ...

Mine is a long bonnet, a few months after the short bonnet, and has the old type rubbers.
And because all the parts were together with the car, even the rubbers, I think it was a later moment

I don't know when the change over happened, I'm sure Mike P would know. The earlier rubber seals are available in the UK.
