Chassis numbers and numbers on the bulkhead
After some looking about i found this link that tells me about the numbers on my bulkhead http://www.morris-minor.co.uk/p70.htm for some reason on my 1958 traveller i have a earlier looking square chassis plate with the later details from the rounded later plate giving less information, but on the r...

Re: Diesel air pollution
Panky i think a well tuned sensibly driven modern combustion engine is more than enough for now, the problem is so many people thrash the hell out of engines till they smoke and put out lots of bad emmisions, i think sensible driving helps alot i get quite good mpg compared to mates who drive in the...

There is sometimes a way to see information and web pages that have been changed, if you copy and paste the link into google search and look for the cached version you may see the google cache as it was and not the current page, this link says the advert is gone http://www.gumtree.com/p/other-cars/m...

Re: Diesel air pollution
bmcecosse, i live on the edge of a city, the buses and taxis here seem to create clouds as they drive away, i am sure if they had a tennis ball under the excelorator it might stop some of the emmision issues, and yes the modern diesel cars are just filters and computers which is the reason i went aw...

Re: Fake 1955 minor for sale gumtree Motherwell scotland
Its a shame if the current owner has no knowledge of the history, I always HPI any car im looking at and try and do a bit of research, The fake adverts on autotrader are annoying but easy to spot as they normally have email contact only and a story about the owner being in another country.
