Re: Left wondering!

I Unfortunately no price in the ad, btw I thought we were obliged to include this! It just asked to phone for the bottom line. I suppose that in itself speaks volumes. I dare not call in case I'm classed as a time waster. :D There is no requirement to include a price, it is only advised, however it...

I have moved this to a more appropriate forum and I'm sure your aware Cam would normally be on this like a shot, however he is currently fully occupied. If we could ask for your patience I'm sure he will address the issue at his first opportunity.

I use 20/50 engine oil, a lot of people use 3 in 1 but it is really to thin for the job.

Re: won't start - now intermittent loss of power

Hi Louise, A simple enough job just have to watch you don't damage the thread on the new fuel line and I would take the opportunity to take the tank out and clea it. Before you do that is the flexible fuel line between the pump and the carb an old one? If so it is possible that is collapsing when fu...

Re: won't start - now intermittent loss of power

So might be worth looking into if all else has failed to f...

Contact your local branch who will I'm sure help.

I am currently speaking to the owner about purchasing the car, it is very close to me and I have arranged storage until a decision can be made on it's future if I am successful.

OK, what make and model :D you seem very reticent telling us  At this stage a strong letter to the manufacturer may avoid others experiencing the same story I wouldn't want to let the cat out of the bag. They told me at the independent garage today that complaining to the manufacturer'...

Still not had my promised phone call from the dealer service manager. Just collected my car from the independent specialist, new brakes all-round, asked about my suspension to be told two people had looked at it and could find absolutely nothing wrong. Re: Franchised Dealers.

Is there no way you can do the discs and pads yourself? Provided the discs aren't within their minimum thickness you could just do a pad change for now. Price up some discs and pads from your local motor factor, you'll be surprised how much you could save. It used to take me about three hours takin...
