We'll be there but not in Vikki the Traveller as she isn't running well at the moment - keeps cutting out so don't want to chance it.

Tell me out it. I had neat rows of vegetables before all this rain. Returned yesterday and the whole place is covered in Horsetail fronds again  Need to sharpen the hoe and do it all again! :x

PM's can be removed/appear to have disappeared from your "IN" box if the sender decides not to send the PM and deletes it before you have read it. Nothing sinister in it - just a change of mind. :D

Repainting them can be difficult. We fitted stainless steel door tops from a traveller to our 2dr (same door size) No more rusty door tops. :D

Re: How to videos

I agree with above. I have a few "friends" who couldn't even tell you what the battery looks like let alone where it is situated in their cars. As for a dip stick they've never heard of one! So for some people a Dvd is a gentle introduction into the maintenance of their car as it shows the...

Re: Touch up paint

Google "auto paint suppliers, Plymouth" find one local to you and then take a glovebox lid with you. They have the technology to match the paint you have. That way you get the right shade.

^^^^^Agree with Busguy. As far as I'm concerned it's another Morris Minor that's loved and cared and more importantly "on the road" whatever it's "persuasion" :D Only one of my cars has it's original engine. These cars "evolve" through their 60 + years of life. Yes ther...

Re: Advice on buying a Convertible please.

I'm afraid you will have to be prepared to travel to get the car of your dreams. We got ours from Hampshire, We had to go down there to view and then again the next week with a car transporter to bring her home as she had not MOT. Unfortunately the good ones are never near home wherever you live! :w...

Re: 1969 Convertible Vin number..help please :)

Another giveaway - obviously a convertible had no interior courtesy light (no roof!) so there should be no holes in the door pillar for the courtesy light switch. If there are the vehicle started life as a saloon.

Re: to buy or not to buy, what would you do?

Check that the rear wings were painted off the car. If it has been resprayed whilst on the car the wing piping with be painted too. In this case if in future you need to remove a wing for maintenance, the paintwork will be damaged.
