Re: club subscription renewal due, do I or don't I?

But you can renew your subscription online there which would save you a postage stamp!

Re: club subscription renewal due, do I or don't I?

I think you'll find the log-in system has changed. Go to :https://www.mmoc.org.uk/MyAccount/Login On RH side see Current and Previous Members If you are a current or a previous member you will need to reset your password using the forgotten password link the first time you access the site. If you ar...

Re: Postage

Geobernie, may I suggest you take the matter up with Ray Newell, the Club Secretary? I merely stated the practice adopted by the Club as I understand the situation, I am not an MMOC Club official. I attended the AGM on Zoom, how many of the rest of you took the opportuntiy to participate in it? I ho...

Re: Postage

I'm with Phil. UK - No Change. During Covid, overseas have been getting an online and a paper copy, but with increased postal charges, they're now getting a choice. £5 more to get paper magazine. It says it was passed at the 2021 AGM - I do think that 6 months further on it would be nice if the min...

Re: Classic Motor Show NEC 2021

However if you insist upon going, and are going by car, the rail station carpark is usually far cheaper than the NEC (I know from going to Crufts)
You can book and pre-pay online.

Re: Classic Motor Show NEC 2021

If I understand the English rules correctly, people won't have to wear masks at the NEC event?

Re: 1982 registered traveller

It looks like a 'project car' now.
Good job I don't want it as fleabay tells me the owner may not post it to me here in France
That sort of delivery comment on fleabay and elsewhere always make me smile.

Re: Goodbye 'GB'

I am not confused nor am I offended. I merely posted my views. I personally do not like posts made in 100% bold type. As to the GB plates, there are many reports around. Here for example is a clip from the RAC: https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/news/motoring-news/gb-car-sticker-to-be-replaced-by-new-uk-ve...

Re: Goodbye 'GB'

Why do some people post their comments in bold?
Maybe a younger person hasn't told them that doing so so can be interpreted as offensive & bullying, whether or not an individual reader perceives it as OK or PC or not?
Internet etiquette... now there's an off-Topic topic for discussion.........

Jagnut66, you 'go on record as being 55', but one wonders if that is your actual age!

Re: Falling standards

I was merely commenting on what was said by various people in the UK government yesterday and today, before the Pandora Papers began to dominate the news reports.
And as for the pandemic, the Uk's current reported rates of Covid infection are scarily high compared to those of the country I live in.
