I made a pair of them years ago. Minor wheels (At least through Series III) are riveted together. I then located a pair of 14 inch wheels that also were riveted and removed the center. The diameters were a little different so I sandwiched some sheet steel between and riveted everything back together...

I'm sorry, my memory failed me. The C clamp will not work. A little hammering and prying under the plate does the trick. POR-15 is from the States and is very popular here. I haven't used it yet but I have not heard any issues with it.

Very carefully. With the glass out you will have access to the riveted chrome pin. With a little drilling the pin can be pushed out. The bracket to the frame has been known to fall off, so fully support it.

The plate on the front hanger must be removed with the pin. In order to install the bushings, the removal of the plate provides a hole for the bushing. A C clamp is better than a hammer for breaking the adhesion between the rubber and the rust.

When the tunnel cover is in place the plate and buffer on the clutch pedal should be up against the bottom side.

The best way to grease the front suspension is to place the jack under the lower suspension leg and raise until the wheels are of the ground. Now both trunnions are unloaded, which will allow more grease to freely flow.
