Re: parts puzzler
Cool, so not as complicated as I thought. My other half half has a bike that left the factory all mixed up and that's a nightmare It fits the criteria to be dual personality, banjo steering wheel, claper hands wipers, gold Speedo, pull start and an old style heater. The interior is normal vinyl not ...

Re: parts puzzler
It's a 1098 I know that from the log book, and I just changed the front brakes to discs.
Typical that my first car has to be confusing, lol
Suppose I will have to wait to see what I need and compare

Re: Daily use classics, very rare now.
Although I am only a few month into owning my moggy, and a learner too boot, I use him every day. Only when my supervised driver to work is on holiday or something then I use my motorbike. I think the only classics I see are mini's. And that's only a couple occasionally I love driving mine, I have a...

People who slam the brakes on, then turn, then indicate.
Or people who slam the brakes on for no reason whatsoever

Just a warning to anyone going to this. If you travel on the A38 rubery bypass they are resurfacing an the ramp they have left between new and old tarmac is more like a wall. Even a crawl bashed my little baby a little :( Don't know if it is still going to be there tomorrow, but I would go trough ru...

Re: vinyl restorer
Didn't think of vanish. Used 2 tubs just to clean the carpets. Will have to give the suggestions a go. They are pretty clean, they just have 50 years of ingrained dirt

Re: vinyl restorer
A bit of both really, I used my trusty steam cleaner and some washing up liquid. They are clean but still a little grubby, but they are 50 years old . I might take the plunge and get a paint then see what it looks like.
Just wanted a near match,
Thank you

Re: Vertically challenged Traveller drivers!
I have exactly the same problem, being 5'1
Nearly brought some of those blocks on eBay but was out bid. Glad I didn't win now.
Although I have a 2 door not a traveller, I did see a man as short as me driving a moggie, so hopefully I will manage

Re: 1964 speedo
The guy i brought it off said it had a clock change, but as I don't know minors very well, :) bit of a newbie to them the Speedo looked like the others I had seen so I figured it was right. I notice some have more lights too so not really sure what mine should look like, the v5 says 1st reg was 02/0...

i have just checked the MOT history on my new moggy :) the dateless original reg number was changed on 27/08/2008 "following an investigation" just curious what that means. has anyone seen the same? i think he possibly lived in Gibraltar for a while as there is a sticker on his boot saying...
