definatly go to a series spares the qualiaty of the parts in the engines from other firms is not good , ie head gaskets etc

if you have the money i would go a series spares , they do propper rebuilds , ive had some engine work done by them carnt recomend them enough

to be honest if you put it on standard head and exhaust it will be horriable to drive i found this out the hard way you need to do the head and exhaust to get the results

ive got this on my 1098 but be warned you need to have a maniflow exhaust or similar and 1275 head to get the benifit . i origionally just had the induction kit on standard 1098 head and exhaust and it constricted the head felt like it was constipated no pull at all .the needle is a fairly rich one ...

thats good news louise i had the same problemback in march the wire came out of the spade connector on the coil , this happened on the m25 near the reading turn off . everything stopped and i managed to get on the slip road and did a tempary repair to get home , then did a better job when i got home

you can get a cast iron clamp from esm or mini mine far better than the pressed steel one

if its blowing around the manifold then the manifold gasket might be on its way ,i have not tryed to remove the manifold with the exhaust still attached i presume it can be done , just plus gas the nuts before hand , on a cold engine

all sounds fine and dandy to me , the fuel pump is ticking more because the engine is warm and the fuel line gets warm and the fuel vaporises a bit so the pump has to work harder , as for the choke only pull it out to start push it in as fast as you can does not do the engine a lot of good with it o...

dont know if this will be relivant , but are all the breathers clear on the engine , im not a tec expert just a thaught , hope i dont get my knuckles rapped by the man with the mini everyone is only trying to be helpful .

i had a stainless on mine , you will find it does get quieter as it fills with carbon from use , stick with it , will be fine .
