Does anybody know if the dvla delete all chassic number records for scrappage cars?

Does anybody know if a vehicle goes throug the scrappage scheme does its details get deleted from the dvla computer,as i have the chance of a minor thats went through and the original reg was transferred to the new car.the reason im asking this is that could i submit the original chassic number to t...
