to be honest the accuspark system is fine for a 1098 or 1275 ive had no problems in years

if you have 50 psi on the oil while driving you should be ok i think the book says it can go as low as 8psi on tickover when warm try putting some stp ,or whynns oil charge if your worried might help a little .

mini 1000 1973 jrx823l in old english white , fantastic car did over 40000 in it in 2 years it leaked oil like no tomorrow but did not burn oil i loved it then got given an allegro which i hated and it was a total piece of rubbish spent more time in the garage than on the road .

i would also say dont compromise on safety get the best brakes you can afford , this is just personal opinion

you could try jacking up the car and have an assistant turn the steering wheel while you pump in the grease i had this problem on my tractor it worked a treat

i had a new set of wheelbearings fitted last year ,they have done 7000 miles and are now toast .when they arrived through the post i opened up the box and noticed they were from china . i was perswaded from the supplier that they used thease on the cars they service without any problems . so i thaug...
