Re: Interior colour change

Neither "British Racing Green" or "Mint Green" were standard colour offerings for the Minor anyway, so if you are having a car rebuilt to own specification and have the luxury of being able to afford to, then why not choose whatever combination you want. As others have said - it...

Re: Interior colour change

Thanks everyone for the advice, it's funny those weren't colour combinations... I do have my eye on another car though, it depends on what I think suits my needs, I will view both a restored car and one that had been left as is, either will be great as before considering a Minor I was hooked on the ...

Interior colour change

Hi all, I've decided after much thinking to go for a professional rebuild, I understand it will be expensive but for me money is no object, the thing I wanted to ask about was changing the interior colour, I love British Racing Green but I'm really not on the same page as the mint green interior tha...

Re: Van back seats?

IF you can find a rusting van, the floor can be modified. The frame is flat until the rear spring cross member. The side sills of the cab can be extended so that the cab/box cross member assembly can be moved back. I've done that. To have a flat folding seat would take more modification of the box ...

Re: Van back seats?

Oh well, just a thought, the thing is I'd love a van but I've got family members who will want a trip in the car so really I'm still limited to a Traveller, which is still nice. Thanks, Joe :D A saloon has exactly the same seating area/capacity as a Traveller - and for much less money. I get that b...

Re: Van back seats?

Well I am not entirely sure how it worked but we had a series II van which had side windows and rear seats added - very comfy bench type. We were children at the time but I believe there was room for feet and it was not too restricted for headroom but not sure how! Sorry told you not very helpful b...

Van back seats?

Hi all, Bit of a stupid idea/question, is it possible to add back seats to a van?, I understand there would be no footwell but is it feasible?, came up with the idea after a family member told me that back in the 60's her father fitted back seats in an Austin A35 van, but she couldn't remember if th...

Hi Joe! I have read a few of your posts actually and it's what inspired me to post for help. And Thankyou for putting my mind at rest for "where have I heard that watch out saying before." :D I'm after a car a can keep for a very long time and want to enjoy it from day one, the best way t...

Re: WATCH OUT! MM LEARNER ABOUT!

Hi Luke, welcome to the club, I'm in the same position as you, first and foremost, great name for a post, I take it you're a fan of Jeremy Beedle, haven't heard anything on cars, but for sales go to the "cars for sale" section of the forum, if you want to go for a professional dealer I wou...
