If the needle was optimised for the engine before the head modification it may be slightly out now.
Ignition timing procedure for the electronic dizzy is the same as a points one (as you used the same rr as me they may have set it for maximum advance of about 32° btdc somewhere between 2500 3000 rpm)

The tappet could have pulled out when the pushrods were removed & got stuck. best to remove the tappet chest covers to investigate

You need a high pressure pump & regulator for a blow through carb as the float chamber is also pressurised. normally aspirated fuel pressures are around 1.5 - 3 psi If you then add say 10psi of boost the fuel pressure will need raising above this to feed the carb. One other difference with the t...

Torx headed bolts/screws are the work of the Devil
The E ones are a lot bigger for a given size no
T20 is usually on small screws & the E20 on large bolts M14 dia etc

The wiring on mine is soldered together as necessary & completely disconnected from the control box,its still there but just for show now

There is a return spring inside the weber which could have broken/ gone weak. Its behind the little plate between the barrels
