Re: Tyre pressure.

Re: Door Seals

I was hoping the door seal problems would be sorted by now. Are some sills better then others? Maybe the James K could get the supplier to swap them for some that do fit as they're not really fit for purpose. Il be looking to buy some soon aswell.

Re: Oil Filter Warning Light

I dont know abit the light but the noise could be from the alternator fan catching. I had this on a new alternator from motor factors. I just bent a couple of fins out the way. Could be worth a check by spinning the alternator without the fan belt on. Hope this helps abit. Steve

Re: Thinking of buying this traveller but needs work

You'd need to go and view it 1st and take the kickplates off and fully check it over and check the woods saveable. Iv just paid that much for my project tho its a one owner job with fully history and came with reconditioned wood. Does look a nice project tho. Some might say its priced high but if it...

Re: Steves Morris Traveller 1970

Got the sill step and boxing panel in place. I roughly refitted the door. Looks like it will line up well. I measured the distance of the old sill step from the boxing panel and have fitted the new step to these measurements and it looked like it will be ok. Its hard working from someone elses old p...

Re: Steves Morris Traveller 1970

Bugger. Before you go any further get the door re hung and linen up, then add some bracing to the aperture to hold it square. With that amount of structure missing things are going to move. Rod Step ahead there. Have already braced the door aperture before i done any cutting. Iv refitted the door t...

Re: Traveller Rolling Tipping

Its not a problem tipping it on its side. I have built a stretched traveller, 42" longer, and I had it on its side for lots of the time, turning it a couple of times to get access to different parts. I ill put some pics on mt facebook page (Dennis Saupe) if you want to see Oh yes please. Thanks
