Re: Best wings?

:D :D :D ^^^

I heard that the heritage are the best available, the pattern ones are an even worse fit. I was lucky with my project that it came with a full set of leyland wings from the late 70's, that fit reasonably well, but still need a bit of jiggling.

Re: 1957 Sage Green Convertible

les-the wheels may end up on the other car but if I change my mind then I will let you know klm-Thanks, it does seem pretty straight, sadly it has not escaped the odd MOT bodge, found some fiberglass on the o/s rear floorpan and a rather large patch on the underside below it, so that will probably h...

1957 Sage Green Convertible

Well I caught the bug and bought another one Basically a friend of mine bought this off the original owners wife in my local town , it had been sat in a barn since 1987. They had always hoped to restore it ( I have a few quotes from the past) but never got round to it. ( I think that is how it goes ...

Re: Upholstery

Easily done by yourself. This http://www.newtoncomm.co.uk/documents/minor-seat-fit/ and a search on the messageboard will give a good idea of how to do it. My tip is don't rush!

Re: Parts values?

For a full interior my experience is at least £100, and generally they had defects (Usually the odd tear, grubby carpets etc). I have never seen a decent interior complete come up for sale. Usually decent sets of seats come up, and they can fetch £100 alone. If I was you I would buy bits up as they ...

Re: Best colour and trim set's for Travellers??

My favourite would be OEW with Red interior, but I have aways liked a lot of the late colours, limeflower etc, but Bermuda Blue (Police blue) is probably my favourite of the late colours.
