There is something rusted away here, The base of the rear bump stop? Hope your axle is savageable, but they are prone to rust through by the locating bracket, even on road going vehicles. The casings are approximately 1/8'' thick around that area so any rust pitting getting on for that depth could ...

But the van has room for the seat back to use where as the pick up with the fixed cab back/bulkhead is totally restricted! That's true, I have fitted them in my van, but in this case would that present a problem, as the aim is to be closer to the peddles? Of course it may be too close. I'll pretend...

Early days, but it looks like the wheel arch in the picture is saveable, and as the repro ones are of a slightly different profile it's worth considering (you can buy the floors without the arch). Mind you the difference is not great so you may feel buying the complete floor sides is the way to go. ...

Looks like you have plenty of options regarding cab floor pics, but I can offer a few, if all else fails.

Yes, I suppose it would tend to make the heavy side stop at the bottom, although being near the centre of the revolving wheel, I imagine that the imbalance is small, but as I hinted earlier, it's annoying and shouldn't be like it. There are places that balance wheels on the hubs which presumably tak...
