Re: Best Tent at the National?

Well it was 1st time camping. We took along a 2bth tent borrowed from my daughter. a blow up mattress and sleeping bags. I also took along our branch gazebbo that we used to put over the tent as we had no idea of how waterproof the tent was. The tent took seconds to open as it was a pop up one. We m...

Re: A Helping Hand

Your right they loved every minute of their 20 minute journey. I heard voices from one limmo saying that they wished that they could have arrived in it. I think they were kept very busy showing their friends photographs taken before they got to the prom. Next month I will be taking a bride to her we...

A Helping Hand

I was asked if it's possible to help take a friends son and friends to their school prom as all the limmos were fully booked and he wasn't let down as I pulled into his street. The faces on his friends was a picture as we arrived with lights and noise. A handsome donation to charity and petrol cost ...

Re: Support needed for Lottery funding bid!

What a great idea. You seem to have a good case there. On the down side of things I have sat on a village hall committee that was asking for lottery money and the process is a long and hard one. We as a committee submitted over four bids to them and each one a fail. As a result of this I no longer &...

Re: Panda restoration.

Both Simon Mitch and my Pandas belong to the Cardiff/South Wales police. I have a photo showing them outside Cardiff Cit Hall in 1968. I assumed that all 35 Pandas were painted in Blue & White but found out last Nov. at the NEC that 3 Pandas were painted a single color Burgundy. I was informed t...

Re: Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire/Mancs

Hi. I found that in the seven years of owning my Morris. I have attended meetings, Rallies, classic car events almost every weekend through out the Spring - Autumn Time (March - November). I don't enter to win anything. But I have been awarded a few prizes for Best car ect. and when they announce th...

Re: Cophill Farm Chepstow

Hi. I sent off Matthews and my entry forms at the start of March but we received a letter from the show sec. that they are fully booked and please don't turn up as they wouldn't be able to fit us in... I was saddened to hear that as I have supported this event for the past seven years. If the weathe...
