On my later USHM3 engine (inc waterpump) it is also stamped into the top of the block at the very front of the engine, facing upwards. This is a factory recon unit.

Can anyone with both a lowlight and a highlight (pref Srs2 etc) have a look at the profiles of the front wings in the general area of the 'light pod' on the later wings to see what difference there is. Are Srs2 wings the same basic shape as lowlights but with a bit added or did they make a completel...

Finished. Starting to get a tiny bit thin at the edges but it will do the business.<br> http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1261151783_4752 <br> If you want it, how about £5 for the material and then P&P? I'd need to make it a fairly rigid box to keep it from denting. A bit of primer and some top...

As in 'selling machines' or as in 'machining something'?
What sort of thing are you after? Something we could make ourselves?

Wings. Highlight ones with the highlight section removed and a smooth panel welded in its' place, the reverse of what they did in about 1950.

New Lowlight front wings. Want some?

I was wondering if there would be much call for new steel lowlight front wings. Does anyone make them at the moment? How much would people be willing to pay? They wouldn't be show condition straight out of the box but I'm getting better all the time.<br> http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1261127575...

About 40 minutes including the cutting out. Not finished yet but you can get the idea. The polished bit is the new nose cowling piece for my aeroplane plus a credit card to get a sense of scale.

I could make new ones in ali or take a mould off the good ones and make some GRP moulds to be shared around. I have a pair of rough ones that would need quite a bit of work on the bottom edge (well, lower 2 inches needs replacing)
It is all a question of time since none of the options is quick.

I've got a late '52 and it has the split rim headlamp covers with the chrome screw through them.
Are there any particular bits you are looking for?

Sealey 185 Mig (I think that is the name) would pop the CB for the garage lighting until a convenient house extension gave me a chance to get a 30 amp line run into the garage directly. Now it works all day long without trouble. I'd guess a sensible sized welder will be alright if you don't have muc...

Hmmmmm. Tempting. I've got a complete new red Newton leather interior in the roof space that would fit that just perfectly.

What is it likely to go for?

PS James. I found the chassis plate inside the cover of our "Original Morris Minor" book so I can post it to you if you give me your home address.

Nice. Actually looks better than most Morris Minors I have rebuilt. Strange that the sills are so good but the floor has gone a bit in the middle.

Thanks. I've got to file 4 holes through 4mm box section steel tube to make the frame. I've got a 5/8 drill, too. :( When finished, I should have the whole shell 12 inches further off the ground than normal. Fine for welding and painting any shell. It is 4.5 feet wide and just over 5.5 feet long wit...

Front eye-bolt dimensions?

Does anyone have a front suspension eye bolt hand and be able to maesure the dimension of the bolt part that slips through the hole in the chassis rail? I\'m making a chassis trolley that holds the chassis off the floor for welding and other work and it needs to be pinned via the chassis rail holes ...

Are these ones made out of flat steel strip and look like a flattened tie-wrap? I've got some brass ones and I'm sure a laser-cutting company could make a few hundred for the price of a case of beeer.
