The club has two MM engines for sale in need probably of reconditioning. They have both been run recently , one apparently leaked water from water jacket and head, the other had noisy bearings. Both are stored in Norfolk. Price £250 each.

Re: Buying a Series MM
Nice Bananas! Did you cut much out of the flywheel, Bob? For export markets BMC sold individual ring gears but for the UK they only originally sold replacement flywheels complete. Our 1952 will eventually need a new ring gear and that would be a good time to lighten it. Rob We have 3 nos MM ring ge...

Re: Engine value?
To rebuild my USHM3, pistons, reboring, crankshaft grinding and new bearings , new valves and guides, was in total around 2000 euro, without my own time to build it together. so GBP 1000 is a cheap price I think. The only reason for me to spend the money, was the engine number. It is the original o...

There were For Sale signs up a couple of months ago when I went past and I have heard that it has now been sold so dont know what is happening to the remaining hulks scattered throughout the yard. Will have to ring Alan who minded the yard sometime soon.

Re: 1955 Traveller, VAS 788
I think FEB311 was on the S11 Traveller register when I kept it in the 1980s. If so there would have possibly been some correspondence with the owner at that time. Phil may still have this old file.

Re: Are members allowed to use the facilities at the MMOC unit
It would be easy enough for a member in the area to rock up at the door and ask to use the lift to have a quick look underneath. It's an unknown at the moment. Any volunteers? Regarding the committee, I've been in quite a few organisations and clubs as ordinary member, committee member or chairman....
