booking national rally

Just booked the national rally at Kelmarch Hall using the online form. Paid by debit card, so much simpler and easier than cheque and snail mail. Well done to all responsible, is it possible to extend the system to all branch rally's. Just hope I receive all information, and that I have not contribu...

Re: 3.9 diff with 1275 engine

Morning I have a 1275 and a 3.9 diff, works very well, best mod I ever did, after upgrading 7" brakes to 9". No half shaft problems yet, but its been nearly 60 years since I needed to leave rubber on the road. Obviously your speedo will read slower, until you change it, I have a 1376 TPM w...

The Daily Mail is at it as well. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6470913/Morris-Minor-drivers-Britains-worst-drink-drug-driving-study-finds.html I just did not realise I was having that much fun. I do not normally read the DM, I just picked it up in the family planning clinic, HONEST. Regar...

Re: Temp Gauge and 948cc Engine

I have just received one of these 3 gauge sets, quicker delivery than stated. Looks reasonable quality, not fitted yet, but tested on out kettle, works and looks OK, and it fits my spare head, cylinder head that is. It also is calibrated in Fahrenheit, so will still work after March next year. Conti...

Re: NEC classic car show

Hi All
Yes it is very expensive, and very large, far too much to see properly, the price can be trimmed a little by pre planning.

But our stand did themselves proud again, well done to all concerned, thanks for the tea and biscuits, and a place to rest my weary legs.

Well done, I admire your ingenuity and skill, a credit to yourself.

So easy to write a cheque, very satisfying not to, and then come up with practical solution, not concourse, but better.
