Hi guys just to update i have replaced my carb and discovered that it was the condenser that had failed....considering it was a new one from Bull m i'm not very impressed!

I will check the fuel system etc and double check i haven't put diesel in BMC now you have worried me rather a lot!! SURELY i can't have put diesel in....

Hi there i have a 1970 Morris traveller 1098cc neg earth alternator conversion with servo...Just thought i should mention those details in case.... THE PROBLEM occured one day as i was driving a long after filling up about 30ish miles before hand.... I put my foot down a bit and the was a bit judder...
