Bristol Classic Car Show Mini Minor Meet 17th 18th Feb 2007.
Not sure if im the only person going to this car show next month but if im not does anyone else fancy a Mini meet at the car show, sure we could get enough cars together for a mini exhibit and get together!?
Bristol Classic Car Show.
I'll be there in the turbo'd trav, its usually a good show.
Show of interest maybe?!?!
Im sure we could get a good turn out for this event.

Whats wrong with the MMOC?? This forum is MMOC hosted and run.bigginger wrote:You'll scare people away with that word before 'meet' . I'll possibly be there, not sure yet.
Am I missing some sort of hostility or friction between the club and Forum users here, their one and the same in my eyes.
Mini meets are great ways of fellow members meeting up and kicking tyres and just good fun. A club cant run without interaction not thru a forum or a magasine issued 6 times a year....oh, and a national meet and local braches of course.
Just an excuse I thought!

No, you're missing a very small joke, based on an entirely fictional hostility towards minis...heathy12 wrote:bigginger wrote:You'll scare people away with that word before 'meet' . I'll possibly be there, not sure yet.

I'll more than likely be going, depending how many pasengers I have decides if we go in my moggie, if I do that'll make two turbo'd moggies there.
Or of course I could get the Mini out and come up in that if you really did want a Mini meet

The pulling power of a Turbo Diesel! The voices may not be real, but they have good ideas.

Well, I thought it would have been a nice idea after reading the club newsletter about the web meet but no one seems interested.
I tried!
Should have named it the Sheeeeeptown Malllleeeet Meeeeet, might have got a bit more interest then like the southampton Tawn meet thread.
See who evers down there on the day if anyone else is going. I'll still be there in the Turbod trav.

Not many Minors showed up on that ocassion unfortunately, and it was bitterly cold.millerman wrote:Some years ago the MMOC had a meet with the Mini fraternity at Malvern Show ground. Seemed a very good day and I have often wondered why this event was not repeated; everything was under cover as well.

I could have sworn I posted. I'm planning to go on the Saturday with my boy, to look at some shiny stuff and look for some bits and pieces for the Lemming.
Heathy, you might want to padlock your bonnet down in case I see the Trav
And if you call if Sheeeepton Mallet you'll get a load of Welshmen and Yorkshiremen very interested

C'mon guys, pop your name down and make it a proper BO little meet!
Should have my Minilight alloys fitted by the weekend, just got my longer studs thru so if anyone wants a shot in the turbo'd trav they have a fairly large carpark! My brother dad and mate were doing Handbrake turns there year before last!
Roll on Saturday!
