577 BYA... in the co-op car park in Lees, Oldham. Mine is a Traf blue but this was a lighter blue than mine with red coach line and dark brown seats that looked like they could be from an older model. The driver was maybe in his late teens. Big white roof rack on it with blue foam tubing (looked a bit of a mess), car looked in tidy nick though.

Another virtually identical looking version of Miss C.J.'s in Heswall, Wirral last week by Mrs C.J., and the reg was only 21 digits down from ours too!! :o

Mrs C.J. initially panicked, as she thought it was in fact ours, especially with Miss C.J. now having moved away to Uni. :o

On Feb 8th page 58 I wrote about a Traveller being restored in Cyprus.
I am now back in Cyprus and went to have a look at progress. It now has all refurbished front and rear suspension, rebuilt engine installed and a new exhaust. Mechanically it appears to be largely completed but there has been no work done on the body. I will take some photos in the next few days of the work done.
Cheers,
Mike

Seen this one a few times now...bright yellow pick up moggy on Abbeyhills Rd/Park Rd driving from Ashton under lyne towards Oldham Town centre. This morning I went to work a different way so it drove past me (instead of going in the same direction) and oooooh...it sounds like its got a V8 in it. I waved ...he waved back. One morning I'll get his reg' or follow him and have a chat :D and be late for work

Saw a lovely 1960 smoke grey 2 door at the BP garage in Ongar, Essex yesterday. It had deep dish wheels and white wall tyres. The owner, who is a club member, also has a green 4 door. He said that he doesn't visit the messageboard much but I said that I would post the details up here so hello if you are reading this :D

This afternoon at Kew Green (not far from Kew Gardens) a lovely sign-written green van (has a Series III steering wheel)[frame]Image[/frame]
I was in West London with my daughter and we then went on to try to find an old Tea Room. We found the place and something quite interesting outside (see next 2 pics)[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
