Re: Spotted today - Two Travellers

Post by gtt1951 »

Hello Folks, Spotted this afternoon, in the same location as my prvious photo spot[frame]Image[/frame]
Not just the one, but two[frame]Image[/frame]
This 2nd one was then spotted driving off, but mobile phone (inc camera) was not on me.
Although I was in an "estate/utility", it wasn't my Traveller.

Lovely green pickup passed through the roadworks in Farsley, I was in my Minor but stuck in traffic at the junction.

Drove to Bristol today for work and saw a lovely old English white traveller passing Tetbury's Tesco and an equally nice smoke grey saloon VKR 900J on the outskirts of Cirencester on the A429.

Spotted this '59 saloon this morning on the Sunbury Cross end of the M3 (London)[frame]Image[/frame]
Nice number (didn't think that letter O was used in plates at this time - I did think it was a 'D', hence the "nice plate"), but can you see what new offence (soon to be introduced) the driver may be committing by studing the 2 earlier snapshots (from my car video), below -
First shot[frame]Image[/frame]
Second shot[frame]Image[/frame]
Of course the Chelsea Tractor undertaking in Lane 1 was naughty.

I didn't toot or wave (as I was in a non-Morris), but the driver may have noticed my Morris Centenary rear windscreen sticker.

The car looked very nice and had the transitional wiper arrangement (one piece front screen, but "clap-hand" wipers).

Spotted this morning along the Hawley Road, Farnborough, on my way to the M3 at about 09:14 - a very good looking Black SS saloon. I've extracted a cropped still frame from my CrashCam - from the corner of the image.[frame]Image[/frame]
