What's Her Name?
So, the hopeful many years of happy Minor motoring began today, as I placed my deposit on a 1967 Morris Minor 1000 2-door and should be picking her up in about a week or so. She will be my first car ready for my 17th birthday in late July, and I am now going about deciding on a name for her. Any suggestions welcome, but I would like it to be a traditional English or Welsh Female name.
So what do you think??

Re: What's Her Name?
Welcome to the messageboard! How about Glesni which means blueness/blue sky and matches the colour of the car? Or Myfanwy Morris?

Myfanwy did cross my mind, also was Doris (cliched I know), Enid, Marjorie. But I have an open mind to other suggestions

Re: What's Her Name?
Gotta be age-related. I wanted to call my 1956 moggie Winifred, but was outvoted by daughters who preferred Edwina (or Eddie for short). 1967 - Twiggie?

Re: What's Her Name?
Is she, I'm not an expert on reg numbers. If she is it might have to be Shirley, after Her Majesty Shirley Bassey of Tiger Bay!

Re: What's Her Name?
Having done a bit of hunting she was sold in Cardiff between April 1967 and July 1967 so I think that I will name her Shirley.
