Our other car is a 2009 Citroen C6 3.0 HDi a 'future classic' and far rarer than a Morris Minor!!
The 'moggie' has been replaced with another 'classic' a 1953 Citroen Traction Avant 11BL

Re: National Rally Programme
Good grief - with sights like that I'm glad I decided to give the party a miss and stayed in my tent all evening reading my workshop manual.

Re: National Rally Programme
Congratulations Louise, how many bottles did you get through?
edit: oops sorry didn't read the second part!

Re: National Rally Programme
Actually, the award does contain a bottle of 'Jack Daniels'.
Unfortunately Louise had to leave early due to work commitments, so I had to accept the award on her behalf. It will be awarded properly at the Branch and Register Liaison meeting later in the year (with the Jack Daniels bottle intact, before any one says anything )
And I'd like to second Les's congratulations.

Re: National Rally Programme
Thank you all The award was very unexpected - I found out via a text message when I arrived home. Just as well really as I would have looked almost as rusty as Matt Coles in any photos

Re: National Rally Programme
Bullying?? Where?? You had a healthy 'sun kissed' complexion - it's nothing to be ashamed of
(ps: well done to you & Andy on the young achievers award )

Re: National Rally Programme
The only advantage was that no one could see me blushing as I walk up to receive the award
Thanks Lou, well done to you too

Re: National Rally Programme
Did the draw for the cylinder head take place? If so, what was the winning ticket? We had to leave early.

Re: National Rally Programme
If you did draw the winning ticket a note of your number will have been taken and you will be contacted by the Club.

They didn't ask for my number! (or indeed, name).ASL642 wrote:If you did draw the winning ticket a note of your number will have been taken and you will be contacted by the Club.
She just said to look out for winning number to be announced.
Re: National Rally Programme
If the winning number wasn't claimed at the National Rally, it will be printed in the next Minor Matters (Sept/Nov), and will need to be claimed within a certain time, as a 'reserve' was also drawn.
I'll see if I can find out the winning number and whether it has been claimed yet.

Re: National Rally Programme
The winning ticket number for the rebuilt unleaded cylinder head at the National Rally was 355.
If the lucky winner contacts the Derby Office arrangements can then be made to arrange a hand over of the cylinder head.
